Units subject to the Rent Stabilization Ordinance:
• Single-family homes
• Condominiums and townhouses
• Duplexes and multi-unit properties

Units excluded from the Rent Stabilization Ordinance:
• Units in which the current rents are regulated by federal law or by regulatory agreements between the landlord and the government (e.g., Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 program).
• Units rented or leased for 30 days or less (month-to-month rental agreements do not apply)
• Accommodations less than 30 days (e.g., hotels)
• Commercial units (e.g., storage units)
• Institutions (e.g., hospitals)
• Mobile homes
