Join us for the 4th annual Alameda Fair Housing Workshop! It will be full of helpful information on local housing issues, including:
- New state and local tenancy laws
- Hot topics in Fair Housing
- Eviction rules, tenants' rights, and local resources
- Emergencies and tenant relocation
- City Attorney's mediation program and other services

Alameda Home Electrification Fair - March 16
The benefits of switching from gas to electric can be enormous – including long-term savings, safer air, and cutting your climate footprint by using 100% clean electricity from Alameda Municipal Power (AMP).
Join us at Faction Brewing for Alameda’s first ever Home Electrification Fair on Saturday, March 16! Learn from electrification professionals and Alameda residents who have gone all-electric about how to electrify your home, which appliances to electrify, and government rebates and tax credits you can earn. There’s free admission, and we’ll be raffling off climate-friendly gifts, City of Alameda swag, Faction beers, and a portable induction burner that plugs into a standard 110V outlet.

The Home Electrification Fair is organized and sponsored by the Citizens’ Climate Lobby Alameda chapter, Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda (CASA), City of Alameda, and Alameda Municipal Power.
Addressing the Affordable Housing Crisis - March 20
The community meeting will be co-hosted by Alameda County Supervisor, Lena Tam and Alameda Mayor, Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft and will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Alameda Free Library, Stafford Room located at 1555 Oak Street, Alameda.
