Adjusted Relocation Payments Effective July 1, 2024

Annual General Adjustment announced, effective September 1, 2024

The Annual General Adjustment is a cap on the allowed amount of annual rent increase. It applies to all residential units at multi-unit properties (two or more units on a legal lot of record) built before February 1995. The cap is calculated based on 70% of the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for the 12-month period ending April 2024.

Annual Program Fees for FY24-25

The Alameda Rent Program has announced the annual program fees for fiscal year 2024-2025. Landlords pay an annual program fee to the City to cover the costs to provide and administer the Rent Program. Fee amounts are updated annually in accordance with Resolution 15771.
