Between 2014 and 2019, Alameda’s Rent Review Advisory Committee (RRAC) served as a public, non-binding advisory body dedicated to reviewing and mediating rent increases under the City’s rent stabilization ordinance. It operated through public hearings, provided trained volunteer members for fair deliberation, and concluded its service in late 2019.
